About Tetris
Tetris was created by Soviet game designer Alexey Pajitnov in 1984. It became one of the best-selling video games of all time and has been released on virtually every platform. The name comes from the Greek prefix "tetra" (meaning four) and tennis, Pajitnov's favorite sport.
- How is the score calculated?
- 1 line = 100 × level, 2 lines = 300 × level, 3 lines = 500 × level, 4 lines (Tetris!) = 800 × level.
- How does the level increase?
- Every 10 lines cleared advances you one level, making pieces fall faster.
