About Pinball
Pinball machines date to the 1870s, evolving from tabletop games into the iconic coin-operated machines of the 20th century. The electric flipper, invented by Harry Mabs in 1947, transformed pinball into a true skill game. Microsoft's Space Cadet Pinball, bundled with Windows 95–XP, introduced a generation to the game digitally.
- What physics engine powers this game?
- This version uses a lightweight JavaScript 2D physics simulation for accurate ball bouncing, flipper momentum, and bumper collisions.
- How are bumpers scored?
- Pop bumpers score 100 points per hit. Slingshots score 10 points. Completing target banks and ramps activates bonus multipliers.
