About Pac-Man
Pac-Man was created by Toru Iwatani and released by Namco in Japan in 1980. It was designed to appeal to a broader audience than the space-shooter games dominating arcades at the time. Pac-Man became the highest-grossing arcade game of all time and remains one of gaming's most recognizable icons.
- How does the ghost AI work?
- Each ghost has a unique behavior: Blinky chases directly, Pinky targets ahead of Pac-Man, Inky uses a complex prediction, and Clyde alternates between chasing and retreating.
- What are the ghosts' names?
- Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (cyan/blue), and Clyde (orange). In Japan they're called Shadow, Speedy, Bashful, and Pokey.
