How to Play Memory Cards

Flip two cards at a time. If they match, they stay face-up. If they don't match, they flip back over. Find all 8 pairs to win! Try to complete the game in as few moves as possible.

About Memory Cards

Memory (also called Concentration) is one of the world's oldest card games. Players flip two cards at a time seeking matching pairs. The game exercises short-term visual memory and pattern recognition — studies show regular play can help maintain cognitive sharpness.

How many cards are there?

16 cards (8 matching pairs) arranged in a 4×4 grid.

What counts as a good score?

Under 20 moves is excellent. Under 16 (near-perfect memory) is outstanding!

Are the cards shuffled each game?

Yes — cards are randomly shuffled every time you start a new game.
